Welcome to a place which is devoted to an orthodox iconography. We are glad to welcome you into our icon studio.

Our studio offers custom made icons of different styles: family; wedding; for a child's birth and baptism; namesake saints; yearly and monthly Menaia (calendar icons) and other.

The icons that are displayed on our studio page were hand-painted in Byzantine and Russian styles and traditions. Our iconographers pay special attention to following ancient icons as a simples.

We try to leave an ordinary "mechanical only" method of external copying of icons, and try to reveal an internal concept of icon as a theology of the Beauty. To hand-paint an icon well, as is known, is not enough to copy an external shape or a view. A well painted icon it is necessary Internally to go through an image, to take a part in contemplation of a spiritual component of an image. It needs a personal experience of prayful life and a communication with the Relic for truly expressing and revealing an image.

At the same time for an icon painting concerning technology we use only those methods, which an ancient masters used. In our studio icons are hand-painted with egg tempera, natural pigments, real gesso and gold leaf.

We were trained in a theory and a technology of icon painting in Saint Petersburg Orthodox Theological Academy.
